Gotta Love the Power of being “Positive”! Especially, when it’s Embraced in the Hearts and Actions of Our Youth!
Recently, the Amazing Members of Our Youth Wellness Council (YWC), students at John Page Middle School, decided to have a Bake Sale to benefit the Madison Heights Animal Shelter. π Thanks in part to two matching Donors, they raised $800.00!!
Now, time to go shopping!
First, they were treated to lunch at Culver’s by your Madison Heights Community Coalition. π
Then, off to Meijer to get down to some Serious, yet Fun Filled shopping! The level of their Excitement was Off the Chart! They Absolutely Rocked It!!
The final stop was at the Madison Heights Animal Shelter to drop off their Huge Donation! They were given a tour and overview of its operations, and the Heartwarming Opportunity to spend some time with the current residents. π
A Huge Round of Applause and a Standing Ovation to those who helped make this happen, Kimberly Dawn Heisler, Brooke Anschuetz, Jordan Aaron, Nickole Fox, Kara Ross, and me, all of your Madison Heights Community Coalition.
